Order Your Kids First License Plate Today!

This personalized license plate was developed to benefit North Carolinas Childrens Trust Fund.  Fifteen dollars of your twenty-five dollar fee will go directly to the Childrens Trust Fund. These funds are used to provide grants to programs relating to child abuse prevention activities.  Numerous child advocacy efforts, statewide and local nonprofit organizations, and direct-service agencies depend on these funds to help stop child abuse and neglect. Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina is coordinating the administration of this effort, but proceeds from license plate orders go directly to the Childrens Trust Fund.  Thank you for your support.

To order, please call the Dept. of Motor Vehicles Specialized License Plates Division at 919-861-3575. Order forms will be available at local DMVs soon.

Note: The $25.00 special fee is an annual fee due in addition to the regular license fee.

Parties for Prevention!!

We invite friends of Prevent Child Abuse to host private parties to celebrate child abuse prevention.

Parties can be formal sit-down dinners, barbecues, tailgate parties, or other informal gatherings. They can be held in conjunction with a holiday or other celebration such as a retirement or anniversary. Hosts can be as creative as they would like with the menu, theme, and entertainment.

Guests who attend the parties are asked to make a generous contribution. A minimum donation can be required. Those guests unable to attend the dinner are invited to make a donation directly to Prevent Child Abuse.

Proceeds will be used in Prevent Child Abuse’s statewide effort to prevent child abuse and neglect: for critical education and support for new parents, specialized training for teachers and child care professionals, and public awareness programs that are really making a difference.

Contact Ruth Peebles, Development Director for more information.  1-800-354-KIDS.
